You know.... I never thought in a million years that I would be sitting here, at this time of night, doing what I am doing right now. I didn't even know what the word "Blog" meant until this morning, and yet here I am writing my own "Blog" as we speak. Well not really as we speak... more as you read and I just allow a torrent of words to fall from my fingertips and onto the very screen that you find yourself in front of right now.
So, here we are.... you and I, strangely together, yet perhaps metres apart (you may well be my next door neighbour), or worlds apart (has anyone really ever completely myth busted Roswell?).
However we have come to be in the same place I bid you a fond "Welcome Aboard!!" and thank you for being interested or perhaps just curious enough to want to share in my journey. They say "the journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step...", and so it is that you have boldly placed one foot ahead of the other and taken your first step with me.
Where will this finish? Well neither of us can be sure, and I cannot be sure just how far you will keep my company on this road. Perhaps we will share a laugh, a few stories, and bid each other a fond adieu and best wishes as we each take a difference fork in the road. Perhaps though, as the journey takes us to places we would not have ever dared venture alone, we may forge an alliance and become like Frodo and Samwise on a quest for Freedom!
Whatever, you choose I hope that our time together will be a worthwhile one for you, and I hope that you will feel that you have gained from the experience!
